I can’t say enough great things about the staff…Bravo! Everyone was friendly,
knowledgeable, and went out their way for me and my guests. I stayed the night
w/friends and Brewskie, dog. With many years of travel, I thought that I have
seen and done it all. I was wrong. The Heathman is a cut above all the hotels
that I have had the pleasure of staying at. Again, Bravo! Thank you Heathman for
making my time in Portland a time to remember. Also, the hotel is beautiful
inside and out...please take the time to drink coffee in the library...you won't
regret it. The bar is set on high.

The concierges and front desk staff made me feel right at home, from the minute
I checking in to the getting my car for my departure. They made wonderful
restaurant suggestions and were very knowledgeable about the city. My room was
beautiful and spotless! When I did'nt answer my wake up call, they went the
extra step and knocked on my door. They truly understand the meaning of service
and taking care of the guest. I can't wait to go back.

Okay ...so it took a while to write this review. Over 2009 this was the single
most pleasant hotel we stayed at [other hotels in Oregon, Northern California,
Iceland and England]. The room we had was small but tasteful. We appreciated the
attention to detail. From the time we walked into the hotel until the time we
left service was absolutely first rate. Spotlessly clean. I would recommend it
without hesitation.

I Spent a week here over New Years and had a wonderful time enjoying the sights
of Portland - ok, the food of Portland. Our room, the Warhol Suite, was better
than expected with bold colours and even a feather boa on the coat rack that
might come in handy on New Years Eve. Some people might be a little crept out by
the Andy photos over the headboard, but the Tempurpedic was very cozy. The 2
bathrooms were a special treat.
Good service, primo location and a convenient quality restaurant and elegant
lobby for tea.
