What guests are saying about the Econo Lodge Expo Center

I stayed one night. Had requested a non-smoking room which ended up to be on the
ground floor. Don't recommend the hotel to noise-sensitive folks. Located at a
busy intersection with inconsiderate guests as the rate is low. The building is
close to the busy street with no buffer.
Most everything was clean & in good order. No hair dryer! Room had frig &
microwave.
Receptionist was friendly & polite. Again, noise was the main issue.

I booked here with some hesitation but I'm pleased to say that I found it to be
totally fine. I ended up staying 8 nights in 4 separate visits. I never had any
troubles and found the staff to be incredibly pleasant and friendly in the
mornings and evenings.
Highlights:
- refrigerator already cold
- microwave in most rooms
- mattresses and linens were practically brand new
- small, but nicely clean rooms
- inexpensive
- fast food places on the adjacent corners
Minor downsides:
- noisy traffic
- guests are mostly construction crew laborers so it's noisy at 6 AM as everyone
starts their trucks and leaves
- only breakfast choices are English muffins and regular muffins
- relatively thin walls
- not many easily accessible outlets for charging electronics
- flaky wireless internet access
I found this hotel to be totally satisfactory for a budget-minded traveler. |
