We wanted to stay an additional night in Portland, but literally everything was
booked. We lucked out and found the Silver Cloud Inn on Priceline. The hotel is
nice, it is not luxurious, but it is a good solid place to stay. It was fun to
explore the alphabet district and the free parking was a huge bonus. We were
upgraded to a deluxe king for the night and the room was very large. It was
pretty standard as far as hotel rooms go - bed, TV, nice bathroom with a sink
outside, couch, and desk. We had a great view of the parking garage, but no big
deal. We slept soundly, although it is loud in the hall in the morning as people
are leaving. The AC/heating unit also makes a good deal of noise at night and I
ended up just shutting it off. They do have free wifi and free coffee in your
room. We did wish that they had more outlets, we charged our electronics on the
sink counter. Overall, not a bad place to stay if you are looking to explore a
cool area of town and it features some great amenities.

It was an ok place to stay. It was located in a good area in Portland, Or. I
thought it was a bit expensive though. No swimming pool :(

Newly decorated rooms with a very nice flat screen TV. The bed was comfortable
and the pillows fresh. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, free parking. This hotel
is better than it looks on the outside. The breakfast was good but nothing
really unusual that would make it stand out. No view. Great restaurants within
walking distance. I'll come back

We stayed here with our toddler and it was an excellent stay. We had the king
suite and it was large and spacious. We barely used our car all weekend. The
neighbourhood is our favorite and we always stay here when visiting Ptown.
