Well, my dog loved it. Quite an expansive property. Close to Max which is light rail that shoots you free in minutes over to downtown Portland. Otherwise adjacent to major shopping mall and close to Rose Garden. I like this product for the space. Well managed and good included breakfast by U.S. Standards.

This is a good alternative to staying at one of the big hotels downtown in Portland. Lloyd Center provides lots of shopping opportunities, and its easy to get downtown on the tram from here. We stay here every couple of months when in Portland visiting family, and have always felt welcomed. The only complaint we've had is that we notice the staff is eager to shut down the breakfast room BY 9:30, rather than waiting until 9:30 to start closing it up. We generally don't go over there until the early rush has dissipated, and sometimes get the feeling we are over-staying our welcome when looking for the breakfast at 9:15.

Spent a couple of nights this past weekend. Very comfortable; nothing lacking. Well kept and very good breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed this home away from home.

Okay so it's a bit outdated BUT the staff at this Residence Inn make up for that in spades. We didn't stay here because of business but because of the location. Portland is a great walking city and if you don't want to walk take their transit system- it's only a few blocks away

A nice place in many respects, but sort of "specialized". Located quite near Lloyd Center, it's fine if you have business (or pleasure) in that particular part of town, but the pricing I found ($110/night) was not worth going out of your way for, and the bed was worth avoiding! There's a small OUTDOOR pool in a rainy town with not much of an outdoor pool season, and this property is adjacent an "expressway". The rooms are large enough for extended stays, and ours was quite clean and well-appointed. The linens were good, but the mattress was lousy, a real disappointment. Since the rooms are meant for extended stays, and include kitchens with dishwashers and nice stoves, and a table, it struck me as strange that the bathroom would be semi-open to the main living area. The toilet and tub shared a small space with a door, but a nicer bathroom including tub and shower would be even more valuable for an extended stay than our simple overnighter. There is a good laundry area. The property is actually a group of small 3-story buildings, I believe each building has 6 units, 3 share a stairway on the North side, and 3 on the south. Upper floors are quieter, but since there are no elevators, those that value the quiet most may not have access to it - all the units are completely above ground.
This is East of the Willamette river, near the Lloyd Center Mall, the Rose Garden arena, and also near the mass-transit trains so it does have good access to plenty.
