The best thing about this hotel is the picture of the outside on the website.
First it is hard to find the entrance - it is not on 181st St but entrance is on
a side street with a tiny sign. We got our room through Priceline. We were put
on the street side which is noisy. THe microwave overheated and started smoking.
They replaced it. A wakeup call came through at 7am which we never requested.
The staff was not friendly just did their job. I could not wait to check out!

This hotel just went thru a remodel. Unfortunately the new decor feels sterile.
The doors were not changed out. So the finish is peeling, it looks horrible.
Beware that the roadside rooms are a little noisy.
The positive side is that the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant next
door is pretty good but they close at 9:00pm.

Inconvenient to get to from the airport, no free airport shuttle service, so you
need a rental car. Rooms were tired, as was the entire property, breakfast was
unappealing and really was more like coffee, toast and cereal. We had prepaid
for four nights and had to leave after two due to a flight change and we were
not able to get any adjustment. Rules are rules and I understand the risks of
that. but. .. . I suggest you look at any of the hotels on Airport Way.

The Four Points by Sheraton iis located 15 minutes from Portland Airport and
about 25 minutes from the heart of downtown Portland,. I have stayed here around
9 times mostly for it's location.
If you are looking to save money and still be close to the airport, or if you
have business in the Portland area, this is an afforable choice. The pool and
gym are fine, nothing fancy. The rooms
are ok, average in size. I have never had any problems with the condition of
rooms, and find the staff friendly and helpful. It is a safe pick.

I had high expectations for this hotel but was quite disappointed, in particular
with the continental breakfast. The presentation was awful, the pastries and
breads were all in origional plastic bags with no room to sit down to eat. We
took a look and went to the restaurant right away. The food at the restaurant
was good and the price was fair. The hotel rooms were supposed to have been
renovated but the finishings were horrible. There was a huge gap at the entrance
door so we could hear every passers by. The beds were very old and in bad need
of replacement. The new design was functional and quite clever yet again, the
finishings ruined them all. The new tiles in the bathroom were already cracked
before they were put in. Staff at the reception was mostly nice and friendly
except for the lady that checked us in - who had a very unwelcoming look during
the check in process.
All in all, we will not stay at this hotel again.
